EKM Elektronik GmbH, Zwönitz (Germany)
With a production space of more than 3,900 square meters, EKM is a key element in the Voltatron Group’s production network. About 140 employees utilize cutting-edge machinery to manufacture small and medium series as well as sample assemblies – just-in-time and to the highest quality standards. In addition to production, the service portfolio also includes material purchasing, development and comprehensive testing processes. In addition to high-performance, flexible production, EKM has special expertise in the field of prototyping.

Company & Sites
GMS Electronic Vertriebs GmbH, Jockgrim (Germany)
With approximately 30 years of experience in the electronics market, GMS is an established specialist in the fields of industrial applications, medical technology and event technology (audio & lighting). The team of around 20 employees focuses on the distribution of electronic components and, in close cooperation with its partners in the Voltatron network, handles all project management services: from materials management to production, final assembly and testing to quality management and delivery.

KOMITEC electronics GmbH, Zwönitz (Germany)
Since 2026, KOMITEC electronics GmbH has complemented the Voltatron Group’s production network with a total workforce of around 110 employees. The company has an electronics production facility covering more than 4,000 square meters in the immediate vicinity of EKM. KOMITEC also operates a production site in Bulgaria. On this basis, the company is able to offer a comprehensive EMS service portfolio, encompassing electronics development with a focus on hardware, software and cloud, as well as production. In addition to small series, the modern production facility is also capable of producing medium and large series.

Martin Hartmann – CEO
Martin Hartmann has more than 30 years of experience in the battery and energy storage industry. As longstanding Managing Director of the Triathlon Group, he transformed the company from a regional service unit into a renowned international manufacturer of industrial batteries. Under his leadership the company was expanded to include a vertically integrated value chain, adapted new, disruptive technologies, and tapped into international markets. Following the sale of the Triathlon Group to the Sunlight Group, he was most recently Chief Commercial Officer. At Voltatron, Martin Hartmann is spearheading the strategic development and expansion of its business portfolio with forward-looking solutions.
Florian Seitz – CFO
Florian Seitz has considerable expertise in the fields of controlling, financial strategy and corporate management. Prior to assuming the role of CFO at Triathlon Group in 2018 Group he held management positions at the then SDAX company Schlott Group, as well as at Frankensolar and at the management consultancy Munkert & Partner, where he was a Consultant in Controlling and Organizational Development. In his previous position at the Triathlon Group, he was responsible for strategic financial management and the professionalization of central corporate functions. At Voltatron, Florian Seitz ensures that growth, efficiency and entrepreneurial agility are optimally dovetailed.
Supervisory Board
Control instance and sparring partner
Voltatron AG employs a dual management system that clearly separates the Management Board and the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board appoints the members of the Management Board, monitors their activities and advises them strategically on the management of the company. It is directly involved in decisions of fundamental importance, thereby ensuring a balanced and responsible management of the company.
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Supervisory Board of Voltatron AG consists of three members:
Herbert Hilger – Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Herbert Hilger has many years of management experience in the battery industry. In his capacity as Sales Director at Hoppecke Batterien and Managing Director of stuba Stuttgarter Industrie Batterien GmbH, he worked for companies that shaped the industrial battery sector. His in-depth market knowledge and technological expertise are of great value to the work of Voltatron’s Supervisory Board.
Christian Maeder – Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board & Chairman of the Audit Committee
Christian Maeder is a lawyer and tax advisor with specialist knowledge of national and international tax law. Since 2018, he has been working for the law firm Reichlin Hess AG, which specializes in commercial and tax law. As part of his Supervisory Board activities, he particullary supports Voltatron in matters of accounting, compliance and financial management.
Lutz Johannes Holkenbrink – Member of the Supervisory Board
Lutz Johannes Holkenbrink holds a degree in electrical engineering and electronics. He has worked in the battery industry for over 30 years, including at DETA Akkumulatorenwerk and Exide Technologies. Since 2009, he has been a member of the management board of cebalog GmbH, a leading company in the production of industrial batteries. He complements Voltatron’s Supervisory Board with his in-depth technical and strategic expertise.
